I used to have the 4 ten hour shifts as well.

Driving was tough but i LOVED having 3 days off.

Sleep one day, get fukked up the next, recover on the last day, rinse and repeat
I feel you on that. I love the drive though. It's only 30 mins out of town for me, but the best part is driving and listening to my music on my commute.

FL is easy, by far the easiest DAW to use but still powerful

If you have a homie that uses it just ask him to show you how.

I use Maschine but still barely know how to even sequence in it really

Why is it only this generation that complains about shiit like this?
That is why you work hard/smart to get to a place where you set your own hours.
People with no experience these days want a kush job that pays $75K working 10hrs/week right out the gate. Y'all trippin'. Stop biitching and start grinding

Are you a time traveler :ohhh:

I said what I said and you try to flip it on some ad hominem bullshyt.

why is the go to retort for people like you always "why don't you go do such and such?" everytime something is critiqued? :mjlol:

If I say I hate cops, there's always a dumbass going "so you ain't bussin' back, outside, at this very minute. yall aint about that life faux militants :mjpls:?"

Y'all are lame.
Its no ad hominem

If u believe what you're saying why aren't you living by your word? Why bring up how great hunter-gatherer living is if you aren't doing it yourself?

Yeah man when I first started in my career I barely could take a vacation. On my week off I still had to do shyt in the morning for like one hour before I could get on about my day. Then they had the nerve to ask me why I didn't travel somewhere when I got back. :beli:

It was a good week though because I had time to self-reflect on the necessity of me moving on from that job as well as spend time with my Woman who back then I was still getting to know.

Now my past two jobs I can work home at least one day a week. shyt takes time and you have to build seniority. This new gig I just got pays more but way too many meetings as they are just starting the department.

No sooner than I got this gig I am getting an inquiry about another place. They are offering me 20k more (10k base and 10k bonus) for a somewhat higher level position. Basically as a professional you'll find yourself playing catch up getting compensated adequately for the level of work you actually do.

I've been performing on a director level for the past 2 years and it's just with this recent role I'm actually getting paid for it. Now with the next potential role I'll actually be on par with my performance level.

nikkas gotta hustle and keep active on the market stay on LinkedIN and play hard ball with these HR losers and recruiters. Don't stay at places just for the fun of it. Whatever level you perform at that's what you need to be paid.

nikka be exhausted so I turn to lean, kush to get thru the week. I left early Friday and was still too tired to go to work today. Another unexcused absence due to overkill from work . People say take vacation ?? I have one backup and shes new. The layoff rumors excite me cuz of the hope for a real break from this slavery.

Same here breh. :blessed: My job provides this only these 2 shifts. I work on the 4 days 10 hours shift. After a few of my old jobs doing 5 days 8 hour shifts, I never knew such a thing existed. :whew: I sleep so hard on Saturday and don't wake up till the afternoon. Having 3 days off is straight piff. :ehh:
Breh, that's exactly how i am lol

At my job, half of us have mondays off, the other half has fridays off.

When Sunday comes around, i dont feel as down as i did when i was workin 5 days a week. I stay up late as hell on Sundays drinkin beer, playin ps4, watchin movies, etc:mjlol:

On some real shyt, a layoff wouldn't upset me at all. We're kinda in that predicament at work right now. Everybody's like "oh gosh! I hope i dont get laid off!"

I be like "speak for yourself:rudy:" If you are underpaid and/or overworked, a layoff is right on time, if you got in enough time to collect unemployment.

fukk slavin' for these ppl. The older you get, the easier your job should be. Let them young, enthusiastic ppl do that strenuous shyt

Salute to you man. Some folks just don't understand. My first real career salary job wasn't too great. Pay was below average. It was barley enough to get by and I had to work all kinds of long hours, but I was using that money + the little time I had off to get some more certifications. And the job after that was a little better, but still not great. After all of that I finally got myself into a position where I am making more than enough money to be comfortable w/ pretty good benefits and I get time to work from home from time to time. I had to sweat and grind for a long time.
