ok but at my workplace productivity increased on WFH, yet they still gonna ask us to come back. it has nothing to do with productivity. at the end of the day management can only justify their position if it looks like they're needed to keep productivity up lol.

Pre-COVID, my department allowed 2 WFH days per week and 3 in-office.

Productivity has actually gone up with permanent WFH (since March 2020) since people spend less time commuting and can use the saved time to work a little more when they want.

Some businesses function better with EEs in office. CEOs like stuntin on people and that's hard to do when everyone is WFH. They don't feel in control.

He's not wrong. Being able to wake up at 8:57 then roll over to your computer and start "working" doesn't really breed a hustling mentality.

As opposed to spending an hour getting ready for work, plus another 45 minutes in traffic, plus another 45 minutes on the way home.....that's damn near 3 hours out the day just being associated with an in office job..... not working, just prep and travel.......... and you in here lamenting motherfukkas getting an extra hour or more of sleep, probably healthier for it, and also researching other money making opportunities while on the clock outside of their managers bullshyt purview
