FIFA is focused on European fans, so NY/NJ gets first dibs because of the time difference (plus the location).
If Jerryworld was in Dallas (like downtown or Fair Park) with DART Rail instead of Arlington with parking lots, he would have had a great chance at hosting the WC Final. It's damn near dead center between Canada, U.S. and all of Mexico. Logistically it's the best place....but again Arlington ain't it.
SoFi is too narrow on the field. It can barely hold a full sized soccer pitch. Time difference is also too much since they want to maximize Euro viewership.
LOL, this is a joke right? You do realize that the last WC was held in fukkin Qatar, right? You know, the Gulf country that literally sacrifices thousands of South Asian laborers on the regular? They literally had to move the WC to the Winter time to have a logistical shot at having the ceremony when everyone isn’t melting to death in 120+ degree weather in the middle of the Summer. There are very few countries that have the human rights violations that Qatar does, yet they still got to host the event.
FIFA is the most corrupt sports organization in the world hands down. They go who the money goes. They’re not moving the WC from the U.S.
