no xabi alonso as a holding and xavi and iniesta as centre mids, there is a difference...notice i didnt say attacking as they dont possess the qualities of attacking midfielders (especially Xavi). Both players will distribute well enough INTO the attacking third while xabi alonso protects the backline. But they wont venture as much into the attacking third, in terms of off ball runs or even dribble into the 18..just alot of passing to the striker and wingers..Just my Opinion thoSo...2 holding midfielders like I said?
