Xabi is more a regista aka deep-lying playmaker. Sorta what marco senna did for them at 08 euros. There only pure DM is javi martinez and busquests i would say.
And Del Bosque has shown caution by paring him with Busquets. At Liverpool he played with Mascherano or Hamman and with Real had Khedira with him. Its only this season that he has played more defensively with Modric and DiMaria and he has done his usual incessant fouling all game and only getting away with one card or not being carded at all. I think the Confederations final showed that without the energetic pressing the Barca midfield of Xavi,Busquets and Iniesta will struggle against direct football like what Brazil played.

IMMIGRANT TETHERS
England has more world cups than the entire continent of africa.

that harsh truth tho:mjlol:
please list these World Class talents

Rooney? :flabbynsick:
Lampard?:heh:
Gerrard?:mjlol:

A 30 year old Yaya Toure is greater than any talent thats ever came from England.

I'll admit Sturridge and Sterling could get there because they actually have some tekkers and opposing teams actually game plan for them. It must be a coincidence because they're both of African descent.

Ross Barkley isn't gonna amount to shyt
Shaw isn't gonna amount to shyt
Llanana also isn't gonna amount to shyt
Don't even get me started on Wheelchair

they might be Premier league good but they will never amount to shyt in Europe or world stage. Kind of like Gerrard

Is he even going to start for spain? I thought xabi kinda lost his game cause hes getting older and slower. So hes likely to pick up a yellow with players darted passed him with ease.

I think Del Bosque seems to value experience ..sticking to the old guard is what's gonna cost Spain they so dam deep but will he use it? ..Xavi has lost a step and he hasn't looked good this year based on his standards neither has Iniesta he's been up and down ..he needs to find a way to integrate Thiago into the rotation can't see Xavi holding up the entire tournament especially in that weather unless he plans 2 holding midfielders XabiA and Busquets ..I think Iniesta is needed tho for his creativity.

With the aid of the great USA and refs. Can't do anything for yourselves. What will the excuse be when you fail to make it out of the groups?
We conquered and civilised half the world by ourselves(your country being a direct result of that), does that count?

England's squad actually looks pretty solid, they might surprise now that they have lowered expectations. Sterling,Barkley, Lallana, Shaw, Lambert all headed to Brazil :obama:

England been "looking" solid since the 60's

Most over rated nation in footy. They aint winning shyt nor is the US.
