Worst artist with a classic album?

I disagree simply because their emceeing wasn't dull enough to not enjoy the beats, that album got a good replay value and one of the best album for winter along with Hell on earth

I was actually going to edit my post....honestly it may be a classic as much as the rapping pisses me off because you are right I can just listen to that shyt start to finish and enjoy the beats. I do think it is one of the worst rapped albums of the mid 90's but Premier really did something special there

The Game ain't wack. He maybe bipolar, but he aint wack. He has a decent collection of albums.

Warren G? G Funk Era is a dope ass album but he's not exactly a lyrical mastermind

You don't need to be a lyrical mastermind. Warren G makes good music, granted its mostly because of his production game but he compliments his tracks well. I still give In The Midnight Hour spins.

Jedi Mind Tricks - Voilent By Design. Vinnie Paz is the most one dimensional embarassment that has ever been trumpeted as an underground savior, truly a hot garbage MC. But the album is an actual classic.

Beastie Boys - Paul's Boutique. Listen, the Beasties are cool and all but lets be real they are not good rappers, they are just good at making fun, listenable music and PB is one of the best Hip Hop albums ever released

Run DMC - Raising Hell. Don't crucify me, I know that Hip Hop was different then and they were good MC's for the time, but that nursery rhyme shyt hasn't been hot since '88, Kool Keith crushed those buildings.

Diamond D - Stunts Blunts and Hip Hop. Once again, another artist who knew how to make great music but his skills really were questionable

Dr. Dre - The Chronic. Dude has never written his own raps and doesn't even try and hide it, doesn't even make the ghost writers change their signature flow when doing songs for him

Akinyele - Vagina Diner. Great album, cult classic, but Akinyele is a comedy MC, no more no less

Not a single one of these albums is wack or have wack rappers, and Akinyele (at least in Vagina Diner) was a dope rapper and had great flow.
