Waning popularity with the people who made it important. Most definitely. Ralph sold out. What made the brand great was exclusivity and the belief that the only other people wearing it were of the same class. Now everyone is wearing it. Yes he's sold more but the people who made it what it was have moved on to Vineyard Vines, Southern Marsh to go along with more staple brands in LL Bean, Brooks and J. Crew. Do you though

Exclusive? Maybe overstated, but it was very much seen as a premium brand. Now it's not. Whenever I go home, I literally don't see it in my area. Amongst teens and college kids, I'm seeing more VV and Southern Marsh.
