Bunch of Honda/Acura V6 from that era had a recall on the transmission. You see, it’s not the transmission that goes out, it’s a shift solenoid that could be replace for like $150 or $200

My girl parents 2001 TL trans started acting up, they threw a new solenoid on that shyt and it’s fine

My uncle co-own a lil shop in Indiana, use to be there all day during the summer back in high school changing oil and brakes..I’m not saying I’m a master mechanic or nothing but i know a decent amount about whips

You probably take you car to a shop for a oil change, brakes, tuneup etc right? I do all that shyt myself, matter fact, my coworker paid me $120 for some front suspension work last weekend.

Black panel across the (where the windshield wipers are) flew off the car while I was driving back from NC

When I bought my first honda accord back when I was around 22 I think. It ironically was the worst car. Right after the warranty went out, whenever it rained and I was parked outside or driving outside, it would rain on my left leg (that rested on the footrest).

And other minor shyt that was horrible.

Edit: keep in mind this was a brand new car when I bought it. Not used.

My first car, 1984 Lebaron I bought off my dad uncle for $1500 ......in the early 2000s. Lasted 3 months.
Looking back it was such a bad deal I almost feel like my dad lined me up and split the money with his uncle, but my dad has a history of buying shytty cars so probably not (he just paid $4k for a early 80s MG Midget that needed engine work immediately after he copped)
His uncle probably got that shyt for $200 at an auction

I have 2. Ironically both of them were made by Dodge. A 06 Dodge Stratus, and a 99 Dodge Intrepid. The stratus lasted 3 years, and the intrepid didn't even make it a year. We'll focus on the latter.

I went to the dealership sometime in December 08 and got the car for 4,995. Now this date is important for the story. 2 months later it was in the shop because the gear stick literally broke off when I shifted into drive. Fixed it. 2 months after that it went back in for the bearings. Fixed it.

The 3rd and final nail in the coffin. November of 09 the front passenger side wheel popped of the car on some final destination sh*t.

The lug nuts was still attached to the rotor on tire. I'm lucky to be alive right now. The dealership wanted 1300 to fix it. Needless to say I just left it there and took the hit on my credit. It recently fell off of my report. But, long story short I'll never trust Dodge again. Period.

Worst car I ever had was my Pontiac Grand Am. Mfer kept overheating, engine was fukked, electrical issues(because of a blowout), so I said fukk it and upgraded.

We towed the car to the shop we bought it from and told them it was an electrical fire... They gave me my money back
