most of our legendary rappers didnt.. Like Biz had Kane. Ok cool. We look at Biz as an entertainer more than rapper.. a least I do. Same as Drake. I dont see the difference in the two really. And I loved Biz records. One in the same.

Drake is eons better than Biz Markie as a writer.

Ghostwriting removed. The nikka was never THAT dope of en emcee. He was dope. But never THAT dope. For instance. At no point of his emcee career could u compare what he did on the mic to a nikka like Hov or Nas or Biggie. He didn’t have the depth of Pac. He ain’t fukkin wit someone like Redman. And the list goes on. Another thing is. His single and hits output is legendary. But none of his full albums are THAT dope like that. Not even against his peers like Cole and Kendrick. So it’s weird to rate him honestly. I think he Def belongs on a list. Just not top 10. Top 20 or 30 sounds about right.

I can’t really say this. Ever since So Far Gone he been fighting nikkas over writing credits. I don’t think Drake cant write. But I don’t think there’s anything prolific about it. Ghostwriting aside. If he had no ghostwriters. I would just consider him dope. Nothing more. Nothing less.

Mad legendary rappers have ghostwriters. Del wrote a lot of Amerikka's Most Wanted and Cube is in my top 10 and one of the best MCs ever. DOC wrote for Snoop. LL wrote for Run DMC etc...I can't just wipe away nikkas whole discographies because they had a couple verses written for them over the course of their careers.

Can't really compare the Cube situation to Drake as Cube let Del write for him solely to put money in his pocket and give him a writing credit.

What separate drake from other artist is HE KNOWS HOW TO MAKE SONGS. He can move in and out of genres with ease while other artist/rappers are pegged in one slot.,
