Would Pippen be a top 5 player in today's NBA?

Who was a great iso shot creator outside Jordan in that era? Pip was a solid ball handler who could attack the rim pretty good. He had a nice mid range shot and developed a good post game later in his career.(watch how he destroyed the Jazz in 98) Comparing him to Deng is ludicrous

The 90's were dominated by bigs(pf's and C's) there weren't that many dynamic perimeter players who could but Grant Hill,Penny Hardaway,Latrell Sprewell,tim hardaway,kevin johnson,rod strickland,allan houston,ron harper(pre bulls he fell off after he fukked up his knee) off the top of my head all could if you want to add the late 90's iverson,marbury,kobe,ray allen etc

we aint gonna agree bruh.Pippen was a good complementary player he literally had the perfect role on the bulls jordan use to scream on teammates pip use to talk to them with respect,he was smart,good all around player with a good bball iq and a solid secondary scorer who was mad inconsistent at times.I've seen people compare him to lebron,bird,durant which is a joke.

pippen is the peoples champ the underdog who played in the shadow of the goat he has been overrated by millions of revisionist fans who weren't old enough to watch him play or the anti jordan crowd

I remember a game in orlando where penny was destroying pippen he dropped like 39-40 he was killin him in the post,off the dribble I was like

I said after that pip cannot guard this dude then jordan returned a few weeks later and the next year penny dropped 38 on pip in the playoffs

pippen could not guard quick wings or guards he could guard john stockton,mookie blaylock,mark jackson type guards or derek mckie,anthony mason type wings

pip was 1st team all defense in 96 penny averaged 28 ppg vs the bulls in 96 in the regular season and 25 ppg vs the bulls in the playoffs

Phil use to put jordan on penny at times cuz pip would get in foul trouble and be woofin at refs.The bulls lost 10 games that season and their 1st loss was vs the magic without shaq cuz penny was killin them

Uhhhhh Pippen would be far an away the best defensive player in the NBA. He could literally guard 1-5, and the people saying he "Couldn't create his own shot" obviously didn't watch him play when Mike was out.

If Kawhi isn't "far and away" the best defensive player in the NBA then Pippen sure as hell wouldn't be.
