On that same token, Lebron would MURDER in the 80s though. If Lebron could handcheck, he'd probably be a GOAT-level defender and if teams couldn't pack the paint due to illegal defense rules plus no ability to shadow then he'd get into the lane at will. That fast pace and his ability to handle the rock would make him a transition nightmare because you got a 6'8 freight train who was bigger and stronger than a lot of centers at that time.

Lebron would feast in that era because he's among the best at dealing with hard doubles and The lack of proper zoning would mean you can't stack multiple defenders. Plus Lebron would be the biggest, fastest, and among the most unstoppable specimens outside of MJ.

I don't really disagree. Lebron would be an absolute monster in the 80s or any era for that matter. He's a great player. He does have holes in his game that Mike didn't have tho. His jumper is inconsistent. We saw Iggy give him trouble defensively for a nice stretch of games until his jump shot started working. I'm basically saying that it's easier to guard Lebron than it was Mike.

If all that's true then why are you so lame? The only thing that I know about you is your posting history and judging from that, you're lame as fukk. Like a corny type of dude. The type who nobody knows/respects in your own hometown. There's absolutely nothing that you could do with a guy like me. I could find you in Houston my dude.

Theres people on here who know me off the board. My pic is on here, you could definitely find me. Would you do anything though? I doubt it.

You anonymous so of course you run your mouth with the tough guy sh*t

Passing, playmaking, court vision, touch around the rim, finishing through contact, and ability to get into the lane.

:martin:List three things that are all the same thing brehs.

Touch around the rim:francis: Eh, Kobe doesn't play around the rim as much, but I've seen bron miss a ton of easy ones, but that's a toss up.

But I agree, Bron can pass better, drive better, and he's a far better off ball defender. :yeshrug:See, no bias, and that's not to say Bron isn't good at other things, but I just don't think he's as skilled as Kobe with the basketball.

I think MJ is a fusion between the two.

:heh: at "I doubt it"? Your ignorance is another giveaway that we aren't built the same. You have no idea who am I or what I'm capable of. You should be more careful. Lots of people you'd probably consider crazy out here.

This is all empty talk. Kobe was never as good as Mike and neither is Lebron. That has nothing to do with acting like it's sacrilegious to think that someone might be better than Mike. If someone comes along who's actually just as good or better then that will be what it is. That's not the case tho. It's just inaccurate to say that Kobe or Lebron are just as good.

The same way that Mike is a notch above Lebron, I think that Lebron is a notch above Kobe.

Nah. What makes Lebron better than Kobe? Chase down blocks? Getting rebounds when the rest of his team is already down the court? I'm sorry I don't see it.

Considering that this is probably the weakest NBA era since the late '70s, I would say yes a rookie version of Jordan would be the best player in the league today.

LeBron is widely considered the best player today, and rookie Jordan was better at getting to the basket than current LeBron and he also had a better jumpshot - however, shaky it was that year.

I agree. Mike is obviously harder to guard than Lebron but Lebron would be putting up video game stats like MJ too.

People just don't realize how good a scorer/slasher Lebron really is for him to score as consistently and efficiently as he does despite his lack of consistent jump shot. Dude is probably a GOAT-tier finisher and slasher in his prime.

:dwillhuh:

No, they aren't. Rondo is an elite passer and has elite vision but he's also not nearly as good of a playmaker due to his lack of offensive ability.

Kobe is actually a very talented passer but his overall vision is pretty "meh" due to his tunnel vision.

Creativity is the ability to make difficult passes in a variety of positions that most people can't see. Playmaking is the ability to create easy opportunities for your teammates with your offensive ability. Passing is the ability to hit your teammates in rhythm and in their preferred pocket with the proper pass for that situation. Lebron is elite in every single one of those aspects.

Oh, Lebron is also better at managing the PnR but Kobe never seemed to enjoy doing it as much.

It's not a toss up. Lebron has posted SHAQ numbers of efficiency and many more attempts around the rim than Kobe has ever done despite the fact that teams typically play off of Lebron and try to deny him access to the rim at all costs. Kobe has never posted Lebron levels of efficiency near the rim.

Skill isn't just footwork and how pretty your game is. Lebron has goat-tier balance and body control (Especially in his athletic prime) which is how he's able to finish like he does through contact. You're thinking about Lebron right now that he's lost a step but I'm talking Lebron across his entire career.

I thought you were autistic, but you might actually be retarded.

If i were to pull 10 random posts from you, i guarantee 8 or 9 of them would be aggressive and angry.

If anybody takes this too serious its your dumb ass. You should be tending to your kids instead of coming in every thread mad as hell tryna argue with people.

I come on here for basketball talk and amusement. You come on here to release the pent up frustration from your sh*tty life.

You need help lil homie.
