You sound like a Kobe fan boy. You're damn sure overrating him like one. Both Mike and Lebron are clearly more skilled than Kobe. Mike is more skilled than them both while being just as athletic as Lebron. He just wasn't as big as Lebron is.
Yea it was insulting to people who know better's intelligence. I still get called a Kobe hater because I push back against how he's been overrated.

I'm tired of this "overrating" Kobe nonsense. Just because you don't like the man don't mean you gotta disrespect his legend. What exactly is Lebron more skilled at than Kobe? :martin:

Kobe, Bird, Jordan, and Duncan are by far the most skilled ball players Of all time.

What exactly is Kobe overrated at?

Overrated players don't become as successful as him:yeshrug:

You might sneak by for a few years, but not for 15+ years of Averaging 25+.

Another thread where youngsters who never actually saw Jordan play are comparing him to current players like LeBron, Durant and Curry. These same youngsters also never saw Magic Johnson, Larry Bird, Kareem, Isaiah Thomas, David Thompson, Scottie Pippen, Hakeem Olajuwon, etc., play; but stats and PERS junk science will also explain how LeBron, Durant and Curry are better than those all time greats too.

SMDH.

The only player that I ever wonder about is Len Bias. That is a guy that had a chance to be great, but his talents were never realized.

This is why he's overrated. You can't speak the truth about him without being called a hater so the objective cats get drowned out by the fanboys. Kobe is the most overrated player to be considered all time great ever.

Just because you're a big Kobe fan doesn't mean that you have to take opinions that don't equate to yours personally. I didn't say that Kobe wasn't a great player, I said that he's overrated. He's not as good as people hype him up to be. For example, his clutches and defense. Those are two aspects of his fame that have been extremely overrated throughout his career.

It's unpopular for a reason. It's not a discussion that anyone who actually saw prime Mike would take seriously. I'm a Lebron fan but he's a clear notch below Mike. It's not really close. A prime Mike would be even better in this league than he was in his.

On that same token, Lebron would MURDER in the 80s though. If Lebron could handcheck, he'd probably be a GOAT-level defender and if teams couldn't pack the paint due to illegal defense rules plus no ability to shadow then he'd get into the lane at will. That fast pace and his ability to handle the rock would make him a transition nightmare because you got a 6'8 freight train who was bigger and stronger than a lot of centers at that time.

Lebron would feast in that era because he's among the best at dealing with hard doubles and The lack of proper zoning would mean you can't stack multiple defenders. Plus Lebron would be the biggest, fastest, and among the most unstoppable specimens outside of MJ.

If all that's true then why are you so lame? The only thing that I know about you is your posting history and judging from that, you're lame as fukk. Like a corny type of dude. The type who nobody knows/respects in your own hometown. There's absolutely nothing that you could do with a guy like me. I could find you in Houston my dude.

Passing, playmaking, court vision, touch around the rim, finishing through contact, and ability to get into the lane.

Another stat boy. :heh: at a rookie Mike having a "limited" jumper. If rookie Mike's midrange J was "limited" then current Lebron's midrange is completely broken because rookie Mike's midrange jumper was better than Lebron's is right now. Lebron just averaged 25 for the year on 52% with an inconsistent jumper and only 73% from the line. There's no reason to think that a rookie Mike wouldn't score just as well(even better I say) in this league than he did in '84. The advantages that Lebron have over rookie Mike as a player are the all around aspects. Scoring isn't one of them tho.
This was an early regular season game tho. We see laughably bad defense and offense on the biggest stages nowadays. That's why the league shattered the record for blowouts in this year's playoffs. Go back and look at the last 4 minutes of game 7 and pay attention to how shytty the offenses of the two best teams in the league was. shyt was joke, just like most of the play during the playoffs. Low quality shyt.
It's not about being a stat boy its simple logic and reason.

Jordan played in a league the was much faster paced and uptempo, a league more reliant on individual man to man defense, a league with a lot more cacs, a league with inferior athletes. Jordan said himself he wouldn't have had the same career if he had to face zone defenses.

The 80's had the highest scoring games and most players scoring 30 a night for a reason. Jordan is the greatest and one of the best rookies ever but pace adjusting his stats he's not the best player in the league.

Lmao at Cavs and Warriors offense being a joke

:heh:
