Bron is better. He is a walking triple double and you put Bron on any team outside of philly and LA and they probably making the offs.

I hate this argument of judging by "skillset" though. Kyrie Irving has a greater offensive skillset than LeBron. Is he better than LeBron? fukk no lol. At the end of the day basketball is about impact, and in terms of that LeBron and KD are both def better than rookie MJ. You have to keep in mind the 80's was a very fast-paced era with little defense played so MJ's stats from then were inflated.

And while we're at it, while what rookie MJ did was amazing, I'm struggling to understand how you're baffled by an MJ who spent 3 years in college coming in and smoking the NBA when a 19 y/o LeBron with ZERO college was averaging 27ppg. :dead:

Lebron averaged 20 a game out of high school. But I agree with your overall premise doe.

Rookie Kareem > rookie MJ

But prime MJ > prime Kareem

What really makes me agree with this is that Kareem (in the 1970's) played in an NBA that was watered down because of the great players in the ABA: HOF'ers George Gervin, Dr. J, David Thompson, Rick Barry, Artis Gilmore, Moses Malone, Dan Issel, and Spencer Haywood among them. I'm not saying that Kareem isn't great...I just hold Jordan's accomplishments higher because of the better competition for his entire career due to the ABA-NBA merger in 1976.

it's what separates him from the others. His competitiveness/borderline a$$hole of needing to win.

smh @MJ dropping 50 at 40 years old yet people actually think he wouldn't be unstoppable in todays league. he'd probably shoot 15 FT a game alone.

Who has more mvps?

huh? MJ has 5 while lebron has 4 right now. And MJ has 6 FMVPs vs what 3 for lebron?

And MJ also has a defensive player of the year award, along with 10 scoring titles. And the highest finals ppg in history.

Meanwhile Lebron is 3-4 in finals and actually had a finals game with 8 points. Against the Mavs.:mjlol:

That's because the league had a prime Bird/Magic.

Only player close to that level of play today is Bron.

Durant's a step below

Jury's still out on Steph....GOAT shooter, but I could see the league catching up to him.

Steph's a great shooter, he just got make better decisions. Chill on all them dumb shots.

Durant is a better offensive player than LeBron. Harden too.
