Would the Raptors have won the title with Bron instead of Kawhi?

All I'm doing is pointing out that Kawhi has missed free throws in the clutch as well. Who I'd choose is irrelevant.

Just a question brother... I'm curious

:jbhmm:And Kawhi also missed a free throw against philly, game 7 , which allowed jimmy to tie.

I wouldn't pick neither one of them nikkaz.

In 2017-2018 he did in the with a far worse (going to the finals) squad so obviously he would the same with a far better squad in Toronto especially with his primary rivel in KD gone.

Seriously why is this even a question.:what:

better question is would Toronto made the finals if bron was in the east.

Yall better have this same energy if Kawhi doesnt deliver a title

Same energy bruh, I want these muhfukkas to have the exact same fukking energy when Kawhi is getting his head popped next postseason...

I'm of the firm belief that it doesn't even go to 7 agaisnt Philly. Bron wins that in like 6. In my honest opinion, I think it's a gap after LeBron and KD. Durant at like 60% stepped on the court for a quarter and was looking like the best player.

Hell, The Raptors might've lost against Golden State if Klay didn't tear his ACL. I think LeBron would've won in that scenario. We all saw LeBron give a better Warriors team 50 just the year prior.

I mean really...

KD was getting ready to snatch the series from Toronto, and that's the thing. This is the best we ever saw Kawhi look, and he was great, but the best version if Kawhi we ever saw is LEVELS below the best version of KD and LeBron we've seen, by a landslide....

Proof is in KD walking on the floor for a quarter, you couldn't even tell Kawhi was in the game (oh, but he was). And pick a year for LeBron, Kawhi's 2019 playoff run is at best tied with Bron's 4th best playoff run---->for sure '19 Kawhi ain't on the level of Bron's three greatest playoff runs...

I love this newfound Kawhi stanning. I just want nikkas to keep the energy in the 2020 playoffs when the Lakers (or somebody else) repositioning this dude from his overrated perch...

None of this denies the fact -- that he needed to decorate his rosters to win championships. Even 2012 team didn't have alot shooters - Prime Bron, Bosh, and Wade was just crazy at the time. Even they thought so. We'll never see lebron win a championship, where he didn't have a hand in designing the roster.
By 2012 it wasn't prime Wade and Bosh. Bosh missed half the playoffs and was no more than 80% at best in the Finals, Wade had already started his decline. Prime Wade ain't scoring 5 points in a playoff game and prime Bosh ain't coming off the bench to start the Finals.

And you're shifting the goalposts anyway. You said LeBron couldn't even make the playoffs without that with one kind of roster, I gave numerous examples of that not being true.

The Sixers would have melted down versus LeBron with this type of roster around him in Toronto...

Last three games of Philly series, Kawhi shot .427 (32-75) from the field and .118 from 3 (2-17). Kawhi took 39 shots that G7 and needed a buzzer beating prayer to win the series by 2 points...

Bron has a .498 shooting from the floor and .349 from 3 in 17 career playoff games that he took at least 30 shots, and never took over 38. The two career playoff games Kawhi has taken 30 shots he has a .435 field goal percentage and .474 from three....

It wouldn't have taken Bron 39 shots to beat Philly, one, and two, if it got to a G7 at home the Bron Raptors probably win running away, but chances are that series is over in 6 or less with LeBron...

That Raptors elite defense with LeBron would have done the same things to Giannis, and win that series in 6 or less...

This Raps team with Bron facing a depleted Warriors squad possibly sweeps Golden State--->it ain't getting to 6....

in game 7 vs philly every member of the raptors starting lineup besides kawhi shot less than 40% and only one player off the bench made at least one shot. for the series van vleet shot 1-14 from 3pt land. as a team the raptors shot 29.8% from 3. only one starter other than kawhi shot above 42% (siakam 44.1) for the series. despite all that and only one all star on his team, he led toronto to a win over a team with 3 all stars with 2 other starters averaging at least 18ppg on the season.

no lebron team with only 2 total all stars has ever beaten a team with that kind of firepower yet this year's lebron would have done it? not to mention even when kawhi has been hobbled this postseason hes still an infinitely better defender than lebron is now.

Raptors needed every bit of Kawhi's shooting and scoring in that philly series. Their whole team outside of a couple of games from Siakam laid an egg shooting wise. I truly believe that Bron would have melted mentally if his teammates had that type of performance. Bron needs a team with shooters or 3 and D guys to function at his best. My honest take is that they would have lost to the Bucks with Lebron but if they had made it through they would have beat the Warriors. Put KD instead of Kawhi on the Raptors and they easily win the championship.

When are we gonna stop acting like the raps beat the warriors at full strength? If these dudes had these many injures in last seasons finals Bron and the Cavs would've washed the warriors in last year's finals.

Now the bucks and 6ers were vastly superior? The raps finished two games behind the bucks for the best record in the league and overall number #2 in the league! Y'all talking like the raptors were trash lol this shyt hilarious

Depends on if you mean the finals or the entire playoffs run. Kawhi's presence eliminated Ben (and routinely does), I dont think Bron was capable of that. Once that happened, they just needed to make it tough for Yimmy and let Embiid's 3rd grader immune system beat his ass. I think Bron wouldve had a better finals series than Kawhi though.

You can’t recall either

The amount of revisionist history on this board with the Raptors is really hard to understand. Y’all really act like Kawhi went to the Magic and won a title there. The Raptors were one of the best teams in the East before they got Kawhi.

The Raptors were a 60 win team the year before with Demar Derozan. They replaced him with Kawhi, they replaced Valanciunas with Marc Gasol and Pascal Siakam became an all-star caliber player yet y’all are acting like Kawhi was playing with some bums. Kawhi only shot 40% against the Bucks and struggled mightily against a Warriors team that was a shell of itself without KD and an injured Klay. I mean Kawhi was outscored by three of his teammates in the closeout game of the finals. Kawhi had an amazing series against Philly but had two great games in the finals but his playoff run isn’t any more spectacular than Lebron’s in 2018 or even Steph and KD’s the last few seasons.

Act like Bron didn’t basically quit on his team at the tail end of the playoff series before he bolted town to go to Miami against a team they were projected to handle

I definitely remember seeing that
