Ehhhh...its not so bad... I work 12hrs/day/120 days str8...and get 4 months off...so i work 4months on and 4 months off...bread is not bad either...I pull 20k/month before taxes....my 4 months that i'm off...i also collect unemployment...so yea...6 days of work aint shyt.

i charge around that for graphic design but its not a job where you can turn you brain off and the 150/hour rate also accounts for the time im not working or billing hours.

I don't have a family either, so I don't have home responsibilities that I have to be present for. When it's just you, your time is what you make it. I 100% agree that money isn't everything, as I think that your kids would be everything. Without that though, there aren't too many things that can keep me away from work. But shyt, to each their own.

I just got this job but the catch is that you only get one Saturday off a month. It's an easy blue collar job in an auto manufacturing plant where some folks been working with the company 10, 20, 30+ years. They don't hire just anyone either because hella folks can't pass a hair follicle drug test and other people can't pass the assessment test to get hired or aren't picked at random to be hired. Some folks in there literally getting paid $150K a year to screw bolts in an assembly line. The pay is decent when you factor in all the over time. Nah, it ain't six figs, but the longer you stay with the company, the better your pay gets. My boy worked there for three years and was making 30 an hour without all the overtime he was clocking. Ideally, I like the four ten hour day schedule with the three day weekend. Hella industries want you to work six days like its nothing. I was about to be a car salesman earlier this year until I learned they want you to work 12 hour days six days a week. I know too many women probably think any breh who works six days a week is "boring" or "works too much" as well.

NO. With any company you are trading your time for money. And you time isn't money, YOUR TIME IS LIFE and you will not be alive that long. Why spend your most valuable asset laboring away in some automotive plant. Start a business instead, work hard for 5 to 10 years and then retire as a young millionaire.
