Snitching doesn't fix communities.
Creating systems, building schools, creating preventative programs would do more good than snitching.
If you don't believe me, then why does the drug trade continue to strive no matter how many kingpins get locked up. Freeway Ricky Ross said in one of those Vlad interviews that the first Judge that convicted him basically said the same thing.
The Judge said, "People tell us that drug dealers are the problem, but you guys aren't the problem...I convicted my first drug dealer before you [Freeway Ricky Ross] were born." He was saying that he's been convicting drug dealers longer than FRR was alive and the drug trade was still viable enough to where FRR could be selling enough drugs which caused him to be standing in front of the Judge to be convicted.
