I've been looking into these heavy lately.
- It is much cheaper. You can get a good sized home for like $50K. A "mansion" would run you around $160K
- It is more durable. Conventional houses are framed with wood. This is steel specifically designed to withstand shipping conditions and high winds.
- They can last 20+ years w/o issue. And if you treat it for rust, it can last twice as long.
- You can move it
- Easier construction. House can be completed in like 1-2 months.
Now you have to deal with limited layout plans and a boxy design. And you have to do the insulation just right since it's metal/steel
