It’s only gonna get worse. I hopped back on online dating a couple months back and had several women admit they had herpes so let’s say about 25-30% of my matches said they take medication for herpes . And that’s just the ones that were honest enough to admit it, no telling how many have it and don’t say anything because they like you and are scared you’ll say no to having sex.

Been on the coli/sohh since the 2000s. Wildiest thing ive ever seen here. We as black people have to take this more serious.

We cant be a fraction of the population and a majority of the people with hiv. Wow.

A lot of those cases are gay men and down low men who sleep with heterosexual women, giving the monster to them.

I’ve shared before that my friend works for public health, specifically informing people when they have HIV, every single time it’s a man, it’s a down low or gay Breh. And sadly when it’s a woman who has it, she’s been infected by a man she was in a relationship with who was sleeping with men and didn’t tell her. She’s said that every time the man would try to deny it at first but then they would eventually admit they were sleeping with men.

Oh and for those of you in Charlotte, stay stuff. A lot of people burning out in these streets on the low (yes my friend got the deets on that shyt too).

And hell no I would never date someone with HIV. I’m immediately assuming his ass got it from bending over and getting his booty busted open by another man , and that’s just nasty. Even thinking about it is nasty. No thanks.

They spread different. HIV is through body fluids, Herpes is skin to skin. You can fukk around and touch somebody or fukk somebody who has herpes and don't even know it. It effects the entire region, a condom won't do much to stop exposure to herpes. Your partner right now can have herpes and not know it. Most people that have it don't show any or very insignificant and easily overlookable symptoms. If you show major symptoms you just got an unlucky roll of the dice.

Nah see that's flagrant. But it's not something to worry too much about, it won't kill you... unless you're immuno-compromised like if you had say... HIV.
