:heh: Checking your wife isnt owning her breh. Its a pecking order in the family. If you arent the leader in the house, she'll be looking for one.

Y'all out at dinner and shes on the phone the entire time you not gonna say anything?
She comes at you with a crazy tone you just gonna shrug it off?

Your wife and the mother of your children, not some random you're smashing, comes to a work function at your job dressed like that and you just gonna sit and smile it off?

And hopefully it would go both ways, meaning if you get outta pocket she would have the self respect to check you as well.

dont explain to them. He will allow his wife to hyphenate her name like jada did will :martin:

"Let"?! I wouldn't "let" my wife do anything. My wife would be her own person free to make her own decisions. I wouldn't own her. She wouldn't be my property. She could dress however she wanted, and I would support her no matter what. Women are human beings. They are not extensions of our egos. Let women do what women want to do. Let women be.
Louder for the people in the back, sis!!

If I want a quiet night in, snacks, movie, Henny etc. .

My bish wants to go out half dressed, about to undertake some daggering on stage in the dancehall. . . ?

:camby:

My leftover snacks are no longer something you are entitled to

Again, where, in your line of thinking, do you hold men accountable for their actions? Who is doing the raping, groping, pinching, and lewd comment making? If gay men starting feeling on your body, because of the way that you dressed, would you start dressing differently?
Breh, I said there are rapists out here. They should be punished.

:dahell: Do you have no street smarts? You opening a duffel bag of cash on public transportation? You leaving your kids at a play at a park alone? It’s not absolving criminals, it’s about moving smarter to reduce risk. Criminals should be locked away, but burying your head in the sand acting like they’re not out there is the height of naïveté.

Are men so uncontrollable that the repercussions of their entitlements must be something that is to be accepted as just a part of life?! Something so pervasive that it’s actually the victims, of said entitlements, that must accommodate men’s savage ways? I notice that you didn’t answer my question about whether you would start dressing differently if gay men started feeling on your body because they were attracted to you, and the way that you were dressed. I suspect that is because you wouldn’t tolerate that type of behavior, and would hold them accountable for their actions. Right then, and there. Why can’t the same attitude be put forth when considering a woman’s boundaries? Is a man’s comfort more important than a woman’s? Just something for you to think about, I suppose…
