You would have had 70k plus starting salary in '91 cost of living. You could own 2 houses

Imagine a time before Mexican immigrants flooded America?

Where coastal cities had legit surreal experiences for dirt cheap cost of living? Buying a NYC brownstone for $1 or a house in NW DC for under 50k?

Where food and living expenses were dirt cheap?

Where jobs were plentiful?

Where pretty women were level headed and respected you if you didnt simp?

Where fame equalled talent and you actually had to have skill to get long term money?

Where entertainment was more than fukkery?

Where cartoons were the stuff of legend?

People in that era had the best financial opportunities if they were focused on wealth and not get caught up in the street life. That opportunity can never come to America ever again.

:mjcry: Them opportunities won't also come to the UK.

All facts. A $50k rowhome/home in NW DC is worth millions now.

You could get a mcmansion in the Baltimore/DC suburbs for $180-200k

A gallon of Gas was around a dollar

And if you were in the tech field... Wow... You were REALLY paid because outsourcing wasn't even a thing.

1991. Our dopamine and dopamine receptors has and is destroyed by modern living in 2019. Plus there was definitely less chemtrials and geoegineering in the early 91 than 2019.

I mean, what age are we going back?

Going back to 1991 as an adult would be wild. I have no idea what that would be like from my perspective (I was a kid on an Army base). I guess if I had a legit ID and employment I could make it work. I would probably miss my family and friends tho.

But fukk it I'd still go back:whew:
Just the idea of making plans and finding information pre-internet would take getting used to
So many mailing lists would have to be sent to my house but I'd love a collection of shyt to look back on

2019

Dam bruh, were you born in 2010?:what: Wasn't no internet in 91' let alone streaming porn, stupid. It was only porno mags from the gas station and VHS tapes. :snoop:Getting porn as a kid in the 90's before the Internet was a mission. You had to have an older brother or sister, steal a mag from the store or find an old mag in the park somewhere. And wasn't that much crazy hardcore porn back then. It was a lot of soft core with white women with big hair looking like Megadeth with breast implants. :scust:There was nasty S&M porn back then. :scusthov:I know because SF had hella porno shops with TVs in the windows showing porn like it was no big deal back then.

Only big dope boys had cellphones and they were the size of kids shoe boxes. People didn't start having cellphones en masse until about the early to mid 2000's.

And y'all antisocial kids couldn't hack it back the day. You had to have actual social skills to get by.

Lived both...and I remember both.

Id go with 2019 easy, hands down. Information is way more accessible, and the net made things much much more convenient.

For example, in 1991, I use to watch my mom pay bills on the weekend. She normally had to write a check or go to the grocery store and buy a money order and then mail it. It was insanely painstaking to calculate everything down to the dime and then mail them out on time all while balancing a check book. Today, I have an online bank account where it's done in 3 minutes or less at little to no cost.

Only thing better back then was "black entertainment" (music, movies, tv) and social relationships (people were more face to face with one another rather than on social media all the time).

Crime is way way way down...those of you who romanticize the crack era are really bamboozling yourselves.
