Would you rather make $5k/month doing nothing or $50k/month working 8 hours, 7 days a week.

First thought was 5k a month. The free time and ability to have passive income is great.

Then I realized.... 50k a month is 600k a year. I could sacrifice a year of my life working (still get evenings and nights off at least), and return pay off bills and make investments.

North Jersey but I miss Cali :sadcam:
People are willing to sacrifice their time to make 50k just so they can “retire”. Most people don’t even enjoy retirement. They wasted their prime years working.

I’ll take the 5k a month and move to Africa. Or Bali. Especially if it’s tax free, fukk it. Why would I want to stay in America :mjlol:

I actually worked 7 days a week before for quite some time.

Due to the nature of the work , flexibility, and freedom it was actually less arduous than most my past business hour positions. I was able to run errands and even grocery shop on the clock for instance

Even with that said endless labor is a damn sin... and im not even religious. Still id likely be forced to do the 50k smh.

60k in passive income is nothing to sneeze at either. While it isn't alot of money, you can pursuit so much more be it money it whatever else your imagination may be. And its common to turn down money for control... i definitely understand such a motive

$50k per month. Compounding is all about getting as much money in as soon as possible.

Work for 3 years:
~$1.8 million

Invest into S&P500, letting it sit and now due to compound interest:
10 years: $4.6 million
20 years: $12 million
30 years: $31 million
Drop it off to the next generation:
50 years: $211 million
100 years: $25 billion
200 years: $345 trillion.

If I push it to working five years:
Start with ~$3million.
Invest it one time:
10 years: $8 million
20 years: $20 million
30 years: $52 million
50 years: $352 million
100 years: $41 billion
200 years: $565 trillion.

Not bad for a few years of working to build a foundation. Living off portfolio generated exponentially growing income after a few years.

The big bonus is family/blood line would be set.
