Rather tackle Jacobs.

He's 6'4", so I got a better chance of getting low enough to trip him up.

Alstott with them big azz pads....feel like he'd run me over just leaning down.

I'd rather try to tackle Jacobs.

He's taller, so in theory I can just go for his ankles/legs and hope he can't get his shoulders down and squared up or get the hand out there. People assume the bigger man is the harder tackle, and that's not the case. Not to say Jacobs didn't run strong, but when you're a DE running the ball, you're going to flatten people simply because of the size discrepancy more times than not.

Meanwhile, I've never felt like Alstott actively wanted to avoid contact.

Same reason why I'd rather try to tackle Derrick Henry over Marshawn Lynch.

Henry got the long stride, so he looks slow but will run past you.

Marshawn will make sure to run you over on his way to daylight.
