He does in some way or form. In Silent Hill 2, he's more of a manifestation of James' guilt, hence why its not going after him trying to slice him in half. In fact it (they) help him overcome his guilt in a very cathartic ending for games at the time. In Silent Hill Origins, he becomes "the butcher" and in the same fashion he ignores Travis and kills the other monsters, seeing as Travis is sent there by Alessa to help the conflict with her soul it makes sense.

In SH: Homecoming, Pyramid head is far more "regimented" and like Alex, is soldier-like in fashion and metes out "justice"(Murder) to other monsters in the vicinity.

The movie is non-canon so it made sense that he was running around killing everything without any motive, guess they dropped the ball there as he should've been a manifestation of Rosa's vanity.

iont know shyt bout silent hill.u was more of a Pokemon Guy,but this sounds dope. I be damn if I play it but there needs to be a series of this shyt I could watch.

I would recommend trying to get your hands on them, the games really did deserve a movie, and while I enjoyed the ending of the movie, some things were misrepresented. The series felt like something out of a Guillermo del Toro script.

The series got its inspiration from Jacob's Ladder and Twin Peaks. Alan Wake took more from Twin Peaks tho.
