Pyramid head is only the physical manifestation of wanting to be punished.

only reason its in alot of silent hill stuff is because people thought it looked cool...

in reality, Pyramid head only existed for James Sunderland in Silent Hill 2.

Silent Hill Origins had something called the Butcher which was a manifestation of part of his past/who he is (depending on the ending)

Silent Hill Homecoming also featured something similar that "looked" like pyramid head but was not.... it was a desire to be punished for his brothers death...

You probably wouldnt even have to worry about Pyramid head
