So Rose is better at long 2s but I was counting everything from 3-10 feet too where Dragic is much better

But calling Dragic awful when he rarely takes long 2s ever (Because he's an elite three point shooter and long 2s are the worst shot unless you're MJ or Dirk) is stupid.

Dragic is still better at every other thing I mentioned.

For the record the Knicks had a lot of internal dysfunction plus the playing in a system that didn't fit him is why his numbers were down. He'll probably be better than Dragic this season tho.

Dragic was playing with multiple D-leaguers in his roster, the Heat were among the most injured teams across the league, they went on an 11-30 start, and were considering blowing the entire team up yet that's not a dysfunctional environment?

The system is why Dragic wa shooting 40% from 3 while Rose shot 20% from 3? It's why Dragic was much better at drawing fouls and was better in every statistical category while playing similar minutes?

Y'all disrespecting Dragic but he's easily as good as Rose is right now. He's a more dangerous and versatile offensive player, he's a much more efficient pick and roll player, and he was one of the most efficient perimeter players in the entries league at the rim.

Dragic shoots 61% around the rim compared to Rose's 55% or Kyrie's 60%. He's a CAREER 66% underneath the rim and y'all are acting like it's somehow disrespectful for Rose to be compared to him.

I can understand that, I try to think of mid-range as anything that isn't layups, dunks, or literally around, under, or at the rim to kinda help to differentiate it.

Would you call the 3-10 the layup range or just the "inside shot" range? How would you classify it, IYO?

So it's better to say Dragic is statistically much better and more efficient as a paint finisher (Not just under the rim) or a better inside game and better 3 point game but worse from outside the paint to the three?

Never knew dragic had stans.

He only shot like 60 3s vs dragic shooting 289 the whole season of course his 3p% was lower and you obviously glossed over the fact Knicks had a lot of dysfunction and played in a flawed system. No one is disrespecting Dragic. I'm just saying he's not that much better than you think he is.

nikkas was actually taking him over Conley last year smh.

He's nowhere close to top-10. His career is best suited as a 6th man at this point, and there's nothing with that. He's still a solid player.

What I saw watching MSG last year was a Rose who was present for the majority of the season. I saw a Rose who got to the basket with relative ease. I saw a Rose who was an excellent late game option hitting big shot after shot for The Knickerbockers. I like both of these guys honestly. I don't think The Dragon does anything particularly unique compared to Rose so I give Rose the edge for his potential for late game heroics

its amazing how many people still cape for D rose. I guess people are just happy too see him back healthy for the most part and gaining that explosiveness back. But make no mistake about it. Rose is not MVP level and it's not even close. Now before some dork screams 18ppg on 47% shooting OMG! Trust me those were empty stats because he gave those back on the other end, I watched knicks games last year and dude was atrocious in almost other aspect. His vision was poor. Multiple times I would see him not look to either staps or holiday while driving into traffic and bricking. That was cool when playing with bogans but unacceptable as a third option. I wont even get into his truly awful defense

Rose led ALL perimeter scorers in FG% in the paint last season, at worse, Rose only lost bout 10% of his athleticism. ROSE IS STILL A TOP 10 ATHLETE IN THE NBA RIGHT fukkIN NOW (Really top 5 tbh). Only Wall and Westbrook are comparable as far as speed with the ball, NOBODY ELSE COMES CLOSE, N O B O D Y.

nikka averaged 18ppg ON 47% IN ONLY 30 fukkIN MINUTES AND AS A 3RD OPTION. If Rose had a good team and good coach, I have no doubt in my mind that Rose would have numbers BETTER numbers than his MVP season
