Would you trade Ben Simmons For Jayson Tatum if you're Philly?

5 years from now Tatum will be an allstar and probably a champion if Boston can take advantage of the weak East.

Until Simmons gets a jumper or Fultz becomes a perennial allstar, Philly will always fall short. Id rather have Tatum long term.

It wasn't always like this. Everyone knew Russell was a stud without ppg. Everyone knew Magic was a stud without ppg. Bill Walton won MVP in 1978 averaging just 18 points/game.

This is all another example of how Jordan narratives took over the NBA. Since Jordan scored a lot of ppg, his stans constantly require that to be the "measure of greatness" now.

nope...Ben is special and thats not to say Tatum isn't but Ben isn't the type of player you give up on unless he keeps having recurring foot issues...He's a generational talent...MYGM wouldn't even allow the 76ers to do that trade you would have to force a trade override.

He never developed offensively at all. And now just wants to focus on being a better defender because he’s more comfortable doing that than learning how to shoot in games. So with that being said if he’s not going to even attempt to improve as a scorer Tatum is definitely a better player than him. All of the potential Simmons had but he’s missing that want to be the man. Tatum has it and continues to improve.

the dude hasn’t even improved as a free throw shooter and rarely attacks to draw contact. Dude is supposed to be in attack mode and when he gets attention use his vision to find the open man.
