Yup, Dallas has only drafted like TWO quarterbacks in Round 1 since 1960 (Craig Morton and Aikman).

Roger was a low pick because everyone knew he'd be going to 'Nam for 4 or 5 years to fulfill his service requirements after graduating from the Naval Academy. Think Danny White was Round 3?

Cowboys have probably invested less in QBs than any franchise in history...and have been very lucky.

Romo finally became a starter in the middle of '06...so they have gotten 20 years of solid (definitely not great) QB play for the cost of a single 4th rd pick for Dak.

At some point they're going to have to find The One. Does anyone trust Jerry to pick a first round QB?
