Would you work 60-70 hours per week for $90,000 a year salary?

I turned down an $85k job as a district manager for a company when the recruiter told me I would be working 70 hours a week. I took a job making $60k but only 40 hours. I have no debt so it was a no brainer

I currently work 60-70 hours now but I make more than $90k and trying to pay off a house.

If they have no debt I would take a lower paying job with less hours. If they need money bad and it's their highest offer, take it, live frugal and leave once their money is straight

Yes. Managing a car wash involves tracking employee productivity, revenues and costs. I could take those skills into the next job where I get paid in scale relative to my time and accrued skills. Fact of the matter is, the higher paying jobs are going to demand more either in skills or time as you go up the ladder.
He don’t really do none of that. Most of the time he’s working there by himself. He only got 2 employees. He used to own a car wash but sold it. They guy he sold it to hired him to managed one his other car washes. Long story short, he got divorced and got fukked over in the settlement so he has to work.

to answer the question, I've worked 60-70 hours a week for a few months out of the yr before. i could probably do it for a year or two, but no way I'd do it long term unless the pay was like a quarter of a mil or more.

that shyt sucks even for an "easy" job

Basically, he said he’s leaving in 3 years.

Then he's doing what he has to do. There are more difficult ways to make 90k.

So basically if he or she :comeon: works 60 to 70 hours a week, they are capped at $28/hour and change, less than that if it's at the high end..

And what state was this in? fukk all that... I wouldn't work that many hours for $28

Yep.. I'm in meetings all day and behind computer screens a lot and even I get bored. Can't imagine doing anything harder and for more hours.
