Economically speaking it's a difficult comparison, cause thinking like "you are really paid x with no overtime" is only relevant given that anyone can work exactly how much they wanna work and get paid per hour.
Another thing about hours is what type of work you have, some people are at work for 10 hours but work for 5, but have to think about work for 15.
