You just gotta figure that Doc was a former player so he was always on the road, he retired at 34 and was a head coach by 38.

Yep I live in Orlando and my dad has lived here for over 10 years. My pops has a friend who's wife was on speaking terms with Doc wife and he always implied to my dad that they were still married but lived separate lives for the most part.
