Vince sold the company & was initially on the board in TKO

So the company would be ran the same as it is now with even more terrible booking/creative

Yup, he specifically sold the company to TKO cause they were the only ones that would’ve put up with his bullshyt, but no doubt WWE would’ve been way worse if Vince was still in charge, just look at how 2021 and 2022 were

:francis:Sucks that low key the best Manias happens in the NO.

Now heads gotta see bullshyt matches, here nikka damns, and celebs doing a moon Sault in front of a bunch of suits, douchebags, coke heads, pimps, and trafficking investors for all of the length of Triple's nose.

fukk it, I want Vince back. I'm dying on the hill and eat a dikk if you trying to change my mind.

At least Vince would not allow the doofus son in law and the fukking Rock to play tug of war with his creation.

Tough, I was probably gonna hit the one in NOLA.
You have a legit gripe. But even if I had the time and money I wasn’t going to NO for mania.
Look, Cokeboy is a POS, but you can’t deny his business and professional side. WWE was his baby and even though everyone complained about how he booked most of the times (myself included) he still managed to do things fans enjoyed.

In his final years He pushed GUNTHER, Bianca, KO, Sami, and made Roman one of the greatest characters after YEARS of fans giving him the :camby: For being forced into the spotlight. Let’s not forget he made Punk and Danielson household names.

Even when WWE went public he still managed to not make it what it is today even though he had investors on his back every day.
Like NO is going to hold a grudge against them lol. They are now getting two events and still getting mania at a later date. They are glad they can continue to host these big events.

What are yall whining about now? who gives a shyt where mania is especially if you wasn’t going anyway. The only thing that is important is if they put on a good show. The location has zero to do with the booking going into the show that year. Y’all act like NO is this magical place that makes WM better by default. Like Philly is this magical place that made mania better. By yall metrics they should go back to Philly smh.

Do yall really have to complain about everything wwe does whether it’s Vince being out of touch or the rock showing up whenever he wants or TKO trying to make money. As I’ve said before Vince would have ran this company into the ground by now. It would not have grown in popularity because he would have made a lot of us tune out completely.

He was not better in anyway, I think NO is overrated for big events anyway. I think companies only go there because the costs are lower not because it’s a better experience for the fans.

Breh we get it you love wwe now. This is a discussion about how a company decided to fukk over a city in favor of greed.

I get it...profit, but at the same time it's burning folks and further alienating the casual fanbase in favor of influencers, douchebag investors, and the works.

Like I said, dying on the hill...I miss Vince, dgaf. Once heads see they are just watching celebrity wrestling and modeling on steroids in the Triple KO era, the door is open and welcoming for No Watch Gang.

It’s not doing any of that, they didn’t burn anyone and alienate any fans. Yes if you from the region and was going to go you have a complaint but that’s it. From a business standpoint which is all they ever cared about including Vince it’s a win win. And for the fans it’s really irrelevant.
All the location effects is the way the setup looks and which stupid slogan they are going to use

No city was harmed in the making of this decision. NO is still getting a mania and another show why would they be mad?

*AEW has their most financially successful event to date in London in 2023 so they run it back in 2024*

the marks: :dj2: :mj:

*WWE has their most financially successful event to date in Vegas 2025 so they run it back for 2026*

the marks: how dare WWE continue trying to maximize their profits! they should never run vegas again!

Part of the appeal of WM is going to different venues with different setups and stages

There’s a ton of cool stadiums that they haven’t been to yet that would make for great visuals

This is just from a fans perspective though, not a business perspective

I agree and the same can be said for the SB but for some reason they all go to the same 4-5 stadiums. For one half of the dope places is too cold around that time and the other half probably charge too much or just aren’t great host cities.

That’s why all these cities building domed stadiums with glass roofs now to try to attract big events

I think Nashville, Cleveland, Chicago, and Jacksonville are soon gonna have domed stadiums

Still like you said, the city has to be good at hosting the event too but WrestleMania isn’t as big as the Super Bowl so they have a bit more flexibility to work with.

Like I’m surprised WWE hasn’t looked at Austin as a possible Mania spot, they have big events there now like F1 and of course SXSW and they have a 100k seat stadium and it’s a big city

But again tho it all comes down to money
