All these deaths are always a sad time and with the recent passing of the GAWD Dusty, what goes down as the notable death decades that hit you the hardest.

The 2000s was crazy sad in deaths imo. We just 5 years in the 2010s and its super tough losing high profile names like Savage, Bearer, warrior and Dusty etc.

90s- Owen, Monsoon, Rude, Pillman, JYD, Andre

2000s- Perfect, Hawk, Elizabeth, Crash, Eddie, Bam Bam, Sherri, Nancy, Benoit, Moolah, Test, Umaga, Bulldog, Bossman, Yoko

2010s - Kanyon, Cade, Luna, Mae, Savage, Warrior, Dusty, Bearer, Doink, Viscera, Ohaire

The only deaths i know about is Eddie, Dusty and Owen.. Normally i don't follow that unless it's all over the news or WWE programming.

R.I.P to all these deceased wrestlers tho.

A Mississippi Cotton Field
in Order? (funny this thread started by "James Dean")

Benoit, who was my favorite wrestler at the time.

Dusty, not because he just died and its fresh or whatever, but I grew up with wrasslin being a big deal in the deep south. Dusty is like a northerner's caricature of a wrestler from the deep south, which is what made him stand out in NWA. lol feuding with da hawsmense. That's a part of my childhood right there.

Warrior... while it also being part of my childhood, dude literally gave his own eulogy. To see him stand up and give that speech... then he was dead.

Warrior's for me. Childhood hero, and always spoke like he had a passion for living well.

It was a cruel reminder on the durability of some of us. I know in that 99' deposition, he mentioned that both his dad and grand father died of heart attacks in their early-mid fifties.

Shame to know that no matter how you treat yourself, you'll probably die young. Where as Hall and Jake have the genetics to withstand alot and keep ticking.

This one hit me the hardest :damn:

This one was just fukking weird you just saw the man the night before thanking the fans and find out next night he just drops dead at an airport.

Hardest ones for me were Eddie Gilbert,Brian Pillman,Owen Hart,Eddie Guerrero and Macho Man.

Edit Sherri's was fukking fukked up because it came during the Vince limo/Benoit murder so she didn't get much of a tribute due to the angle.

Eddie and Benoit hit me the hardest for sure, was big fans of theirs since I got into wrestling, and I had seen Eddie live like a month earlier and I was becoming such a mark for his, so those two def. fukked me up. Test, Lance Cade and Crash fukked me up too because I always liked those guys in the WWE and really wanted all 3 to make a comeback but :sadcam:

BRIAN PILLMAN. Dude was the fukkin future of wrestling to me and would've been Steve Austin's GOAT opponent even beyond rock to me. I was so fukkin DISCOURAGED when he died

I been watching these 96 raws and he's unbelievable :wow: he definitely would've been crazy over late into the Attitude Era

This is me. I was :sadbron: watching that Benoit episode of RAW until the next night :mjpls:

I heard about Eddie but didn't get messed up until I seen the video they made for him..I'm a sucka for those tribute vids. Those two hit hard for me cause I felt like I grew up with them during the Monday night war up to the heights they reached as champs.

Macho I was sad but he wasn't as strong of a part of my childhood as those too. Warrior was ducking weird and I felt bad but then I read that shyt he said about MLK and nawlins :mjpls:
