I been watching these 96 raws and he's unbelievable :wow: he definitely would've been crazy over late into the Attitude Era
He was absolutely amazing and could go with the best when healthy. I truly believe that after hbk left he would've been the heel just under rock...basically in HHH spot...he was infinitely better than trips especially on the mic...he embarrassed everyone but rock before 99 and austin

This is me. I was :sadbron: watching that Benoit episode of RAW until the next night :mjpls:

I heard about Eddie but didn't get messed up until I seen the video they made for him..I'm a sucka for those tribute vids. Those two hit hard for me cause I felt like I grew up with them during the Monday night war up to the heights they reached as champs.

Macho I was sad but he wasn't as strong of a part of my childhood as those too. Warrior was ducking weird and I felt bad but then I read that shyt he said about MLK and nawlins :mjpls:

when warrior died i felt bad because i was shytting on his speeches the day before :mjlol: but all it takes is remembering who he was then i didn't feel bad anymore :manny:

Owen. Died during a live event during his job. Makes matters worse was that, if the rumors are true, he was planning to return within a year or so :mjcry:
still the saddest RAW that i have ever watched...first time youre seeing all these cats breakdown and could barely control themselves

From the time Chris Benoit died until like 2011 I refused to even look at anything related to wrestling, that shyt hurt bad

I mean I think in between I caught a few major angles here and there but like I was an every monday/Thursday/Friday viewer when he died and I never looked at it the same, I didn't even get back into watching his matches until like a year ago

The only deaths i know about is Eddie, Dusty and Owen.. Normally i don't follow that unless it's all over the news or WWE programming.

R.I.P to all these deceased wrestlers tho.
You don't know Macho Man is dead, man? Is that what you're trying to say?

I hear you but I held out hope that he'd recover...I mean hbks career was over, there's no reason to think Pillman wouldn't get better

It's a miracle he survived the car accident the year before to be honest. I actually was fukking with that Goldust feud before he passed was hyped up to see the payoff with him and Marlena.

Owen, Benoit, and Eddie. Monday Night Wars era was my middle school childhood.

My big brother got into letting me wake up at 2 AM to catch the Nitro Replays and he fukked with Eddie heavy. Made him a fan.

Benoit was my favorite wrestler at one point, so it made an impact, but I wasn't as broken up about it given the circumstances.

Owen was hard though. I was watching the PPV (scrambled) when the fall happened and I went to bed thinking that he'd just been injured. Found out he was dead and seeing all those guys tear up at the beginning of Raw hit me in the feels. :mjcry:
