if I'm running a company for years, aint nobody coming in out-the-blue and taking complete booking. especially when I already have staff on deck that's been loyal.

I would've told heyman to suck a d*ck and to go try to get that same deal in Connecticut.

where were all these potential WWE fanboys when ECW was dying? they were too busy watching curtain-jerker matches on wwf metal.

She was gonna do it you moron she didnt want to fire the old people like Kevin Nash :laff:

TNA deserved support in 05-06, after that it was no better than WWE for the most part. 2-3 month hot runs don't change that it's been a mostly bullish1t company for close to a decade.

- TNA made its most money when they put the x-division on the backburner.
- TNA made its most money when they started using "WWE retread". and I don't know why youre calling them WWE retreads when nearly all of them were stars before they went to the WWE.........which leads to another problem I have with "wrestling fans".
- whether you like jeff jarrett or not(and I agree that he over-pushed himself), he was a champion everywhere he went, before and after TNA, except the WWF, where he had a long-standing beef with the most powerful wrestler over there at the time.

Breh, you have to realize something.

Back then a Multi Champ AJ Styles cost less than a Busted Kurt Angle, just because AJ was less known, and couldn't command a higher fee. Sure they made more money, but those higher priced retreads like Sting, Flair and Hogan ran up the bill.

Thats why you bring in retreads on a temp basis to put the young guys over, not run the company with long term contracts.

Wrestling fans are "entitled" now because they get vocal when presented with something they don't like? Are you fukking kidding me?:why:

a lot of yall are sitting around waiting for your dream fantasy CEO that doesn't exist, to come in and be on some ted turner chit. well its not happening. because nobody in their right mind is gonna waste money f*ckin around wit yall.

And they want that because they think it will light a fire under wwe's ass. They really don't want an alternative.

I definitely believe that there are too many "fans" who automatically shyt on anything that isn't WWE-related, and that's a shame because WWE is badly in need of competition.

But there are also plenty of fans who would support the competitor. The main reason TNA is in such bad shape is because TNA management has been horrible for years. If they had built a good and unique product, the support could easily have been there.

It will taken even more than a strong and diversified product to compete with the WWE at this point. The business of wrestling feeds the WWE's dominance.

In the decade we've seen the WWE simply sign top stars from other promotions and effectively become the pinnacle of a performer's career. Most fans, casual or not see this and in-return, paint WWE as the only promotion that matters. All other promotions simply become farm systems.

i'll give you flair. that's about it.

they paid Hogan to run chit. altho, all he did was run it into the ground but that's not the point.

sting and especially angle were worth the money.

"busted angled" >>>> WWE angle

angle wouldn't be referred to as busted if he stayed in the WWE. even if he died there. LOL. stuff like that furthers my point. one day, angle is considered the best in the world, but as soon as he leaves the WWE, hes old and busted. nevermind the fact that hes healthier and put together a better catalog in TNA, right?

so even if I agreed with your opinion in the bolded - which I don't.

if TNA & the WWE were no better than each other during all those years, then why does TNA not deserve support, but the WWE does?

I believe the creation of NXT was a huge blow to the indies. When that olive branch happened, The WWE took away that smark/hardcore indie lover demographic that indy feds cater too.

So what can other feds offer that NXT isn't?
All the Indies use the same guys, they should/shoulda just make a new NWA and pool resources

He said during that time TNA is better than WWE, I gave him a couple of reasons why it wasn't.

and he couldve easily posted 10 times as many WWE videos that were much worse during that timeframe.
