bought them at a super markup on loaned money. theyre about to restructure the shyt out of that company. but could be expanding outside of games into movies and TV (ie Split Fiction). or the opposite, just shrinking everything they've already got going on. going private too.. I mean its hard to see it as anything but a negative.

this is one of the more aggressive moves the Saudis have made. its only gonna get worse from here. we can finally see the play with them buying shares here and there. most likely plan on taking more companies private. end of the day EA has been looking for a deal like this. but it aint gonna go the way they think. its bout to be paid in full out chyea.

:mjlol: Dudes would have flipped out if it was MS buying EA, They'd rather them get bought out by a foreign entities. With that said, I think its better for Triple A gaming in this day in age if you can as developer land within a company that has major cash and private. It allows you to make games you want without worrying about "the board" as much.

Sadly that creates a problem much further down the line in the future were IP's are all over the place and locked off.

Well yea, one of these groups makes consoles and are pushing an all in streaming service.
