Wtf is a black nerd and why should we protect them?

Before thecoli, I always assumed a nerd is someone who is very ackward or into certain comics, anime, or games. I never associated being a nerd with good grades or success. Some of dumbest and bumiest nikkas i know are nerds. Getting good grades in school never hurt me or anyone I know socially.

The word "nerd" isn't simply associated with getting good grades and doesn't have shyt to do with comics. Someone who is heavily invested in comic books is a GEEK. Just so you know geeks do have a social life, they have their own network of people who have the same interests as them and honestly from what I've seen none of them care about what other people do. A nerd on the other hand does more than just make good grades, they are HEAVILY and by heavily I mean EMENSLY engaged in academic work and studies. These guys are the over achiever, not the guys who make ok grades and party on the weekends. These guys you're talking about spend about 90 percent of their free time exploring different academic concepts they're actually FASINATED with what they learn its a serious interest to them. I honestly don't know why you're up here ranting in the form of a question about protection neither a nerd or a geek needs your protection no matter how much you want them to feel that way. They do them you do you.

the word nerd is weird cause there is variations of nerd

nerd 1 : gets good grades in school, usually top ten in class ranking, doesn't have much of a social life/doesn't have social skills, pretty intelligent. they spend most of their time learning other things and whatnot. any race/ethnicity can be this nerd

nerd 2: not even a nerd but more so a Geek. the Geek has a social life and will hang out with only people that have the same interests. these interests include, comic books, star wars, anime, etc. any race/ethnicity can be this nerd

nerd 3: this is the Pharrell/Kanye nerd. these are the nerds who grew up in the suburbs, were socially awkward, some don't have the best grades, and all that but they seem to have a talent or they are artistic. any race/ethnicity can be this nerd.

nerd 4: the people who claim to be a nerd because it's cool apparently. any race/ethnicity can be this nerd

I dont care about semantics or nikkas who grade post off messaging boards. Im just going by what i see off thecoli. They are tons of smart and succesful black people that dont have problems socially but you have posters on thecoli that believe that black people should go out of our way to include/date socially ackward nikkas or else:

I knew a lot of black people in my high school who got good grades, played video games and knew anime like the back of their hand, and had no serious problems.

The key is being social and humble. If you're on some rooty poot "I'm better than everyone here because I XYZ etc." then expect to get met with the usual sophomoric teasing.

And if you're still complaining about this years after the fact, well, you probably deserved it, you're probably an a$$hole.
