Can you please explain the DMV I don’t understand the actual geographical region. How is bmore separate from the DMV? Isn’t bmore like 40 minutes away from DC no traffic ?

DMV is considered a tri-state area (despite the fact that D.C. isn't a state) and that means all three get grouped together by locals. Despite this fact, if a place in either of those states isn't metro-accessible and you cannot easily reach D.C., it is usually considered of the DMV but not a part of the DMV. Baltimore is of the DMV group but it exists in its own microcosm. They have their own culture and slang that is different from our own (although they do commonly intermingle). Baltimore nikkas don't rep the "DMV", they rep Baltimore. It's like being from upstate NY vs being born in NYC. NY nikkas are gonna say you ain't really from NY if you from Buffalo.

However, that said, I will say use common sense and know what situations/events to engage/attend and what time to do it. If the harbor is known for having rowdy crowds this time of year then it's best stay clear and be cautious.

I hate those teen flash mobs.

But I will say this, its hard for a black kid or just 2 or 3 of them to go to the city center and just be there like every other racial group without being harassed by cops/security or treated a certain way for doing the same things everyone else gets to do.

3 white kids could walk to the park and sit on a ledge and no one says a thing about it. 3 asian kids could walk through a mall or dept store browsing and not a dollar is spent without issue...

But 3 black kids can't walk to the park and sit on a ledge without being bombarded with looks of disdain, being harassed by cops or just people. Constantly badgered and followed in those same malls/venues. And only tolerated if they come in and immediately buy, then immediately leave.

Thats the type of shyt that will make shorties have this type of mentality and flash mob in response. "When it's just a couple of us and we didn't do anything, y'all did fukk shyt to us. Now it's a hunnit of us, do it now..." That's an understandable line of thought. Mob mentality and teenage stupidity turns it into shyt in the video after the fact but it's a response to how society treats us when we are alone in the world just doing normal shyt. Strength in numbers is what makes them feel like doing this, even if they don't realize.


I still hate it though. Them little nikkas be doing the most.
