Bruh, I read the boneyard all the time. They want Ollie head on a platter and it’s not even funny how much he’s on the hot seat.

But here are Uconn problems

- They have no structural offense. Uconn offense is Jalen Adams vs five other people.

- They play in the AAC and it’s tougher for them to get recruits because of it.

- They keep on hoping Calhoun comes through that door and it’s not happening anytime soon.

Every single one of these former Big East schools have struggled since realignment.

-Pitt
-Boston college
-Uconn

And Syracuse is on its way.

Slow ya roll, Breh. Of all the teams you named, syracuse is the only umder ncaa sanctions and still made a final four in the mist of them. Next year's recruiting class is much better than years past because those sanctions will be lifted.

Syracuse is not on it's way. The ACC invitation ensued at the same time the sanctions hit. Syracuse has a McDonald's All American and a top 30 player incoming next season. They'll be fine.

UConn's problem is that they bet it all on football and lost. The AAC is a Frankenstein league that doesn't appeal to recruits on the East Coast; UConn's base. Add to that the problem that Ollie isn't a good coach or recruiter and you have what UConn is now. They're holding out hope that the B1G invites them because it's not happening with the ACC. They can't drop football to FCS because all hell would break loose considering how much state money was spent to upgrade the stadium so they were FBS ready.

Can't believe uconn has fallen off that bad. Every NBA team wanted Kevin Ollie a couple of years ago so he'll be alright.

I know it’s not the big east but Cincinnati seems to have transitioned to the AAC just fine. UCONN and Memphis get their stuff together (odds are they will) then the AAC can be a good basketball conference.

UCONN
Memphis
Cincinnati
Wichita st
Houston
smu
Temple
Tulsa

That’s a solid lineup that should get 4-6 bids every year. I could throw UCF in there low key too because they should have a tournament level squad if they stay healthy. Now that Ollie is gone all eyes will be on Memphis with these Penny Hardaway rumors :lupe:
