So I heard this song new song BMF by Rick Ross

It is a synthesized vocal done using a plug in. Similar to an auto tune type effect. Pitch and tempo can be adjusted easily. My guess is the beat was made using ableton with some after work done using logic as it is the go to programs with edm producers (where I do my sound engineering these days) where this is a pretty common sound in they production

I think there is a minimum length of time that a sound needs to have for you to claim royalties off of it
