It's not that next years draft is so strong but that this years draft is so weak. How often does a PG with no skills, no shooting touch go second overall because their a husle player. Dudes gonna get exposed badly and regret not leaving

They drafting hustle players with the second overall now? :dwillhuh:

Either way he should have left, wiggins da gawd and the rest of the gang are going to push him into the second round :skip:

While people are going overboard on next years draft in the sense that while theryes a lot more potential franchise players at the top its not like pick 1 through 30 is gonna be a great player and that Smart will get pushed to the 2nd round or anyhting but there is a big difference in #1 or 2 pick money and late lottery money

Dudes jumper is broke and hes not overly fast or athletic none of those things will change in a year that will magically make him a better pro prospect

cuz he'll be lucky to go in the first round come 2014:aicmon:

Ya'll nikkas doing way too much with this freshmen class. The very top of the lottery is going to be very strong but the way some of ya'll tell it you will be able to draft a franchise player in the bottom half of the first round. There might be one franchise type talent and then a handful of all stars that come from this freshmen class but nothing that would push Smart down that far unless he gets injured or completely flops.

So fukking stupid. Where else in life is someone going to walk up to you in college and offer you millions more this year, then they will next year and you say no.

:laff: :laff: College basketball is wack anyways.

Maybe because he can refine his game to the point that instead of getting one million dollar contract (and then be out of the league in 3 years), he can get several of them. Doesn't always work out that way, but I can never fault someone that thinks longevity instead of right now.

Maybe he knows he ain't ready. Nothing wrong with that. Takes a bigger man to stay than to jump when he knows the time isn't right
