this sold like sh-t b/c it's more of the same.

ghost & sheek aren't growing with their audience.

nas just put out a cd of grown man music. why can't ghost?

why would i want to listen to wu block, which is like a 3.5/5, when i can listen to 5/5 "sellin' coke" albums like cuban linx, ironman, cuban linx 2 & fishscale? they're competing with themselves.

Co sign. Have you notice D Block's fanbase isn't increasing as time passes by? You hear Nas and Jay's names from the youngins, but never D-Block.

tbh i think the problem was the promo, it was half and half with wu block

i mean they were goin back to back releasing freestyles early in the year but i dunno man

Pretty much this and I am a big fan of both parties, but this is a mediocre effort if I'm gonna be reality about it.

Nah. That's absolutely not the reason they did not sell. When Ghost made a FULL grown man album about relationships not only did it not sell, ya'll same nikkas shytted on it. Let's be real. The reason this album did not sell is because of the current climate in hip hop music and because the album had ABSOLUTELY NO PROMO AT ALL. AT ALL. No videos. No advertisements. These dudes literally did like 3 interviews to promote this project. :manny: doesn't really matter to me cause this album is fukking dope as hell.

On point. Lack of promo for a collaborative effort of dudes who are basically the antithesis of what this generation of hip hop listeners like is a death knell. It definitely wasn't the quality cause all I hear is DOPE lyrics (especially from Ghost...that Stella verse :wow:) and dope beats.

actually major label oversaturation of low quality product.
With payola induced sales and bds.
Is what made the internet pirating become the major supply chain for music.
If major labels did not fake jax...
Putting out inferior products that oversaturated the market with payola and over processed pr.
We would not be where we are.

the labels are why,...
Albums do not sell, not the internet.
The labels destroyed the value of their industry.
The fans and consumers just went tye way of technology.
To offset the lack of overall quality.
It just so happened the internet and technology was able to feed the supply and demand.

The industry cosigning and overprocessing artist with no real talent.
Who also signed piss poor deals,..
Where the label could gouge a larger profit.
are the reason why everything is the way things are.

being a fan of both of em, its kinda sad that both crews being this deep in the game, still dont know how to properly promote n sell a music.

whats the point of making dope music, if no one hears it?

shyt, no names like chief keef n soulja boy got millions of views and free publicity from the internet. why can't these old heads do the same.

Why nikkas care what Ghost and them sell, when even they don't give a shyt? They pocket the label money, don't shoot any videos, barely do any promotion, and then bomb. They still got the check so what do they care?

Problem is that you can only do that so many times before fans recognize it, and stop paying attention. Wu Block was never gonna sell well, but they could have done 20-30k first week with a bit of effort. IE get your homie from the hood to shoot a dope video, get some nice cameos, buy a Harry Fraud beat, do a collab with a rapper nikkas are checking for (Freddie Gibbs, Action Bronson...).

Seems like only Rae has any business sense. These nikkas sitting around doing nothing while Rae is caking off his own label, making moves with Kanye, making connects with dope producers, having a real presence on Twitter, etc. Everyone else in the Wu except RZA and Rae are looking for a handout.

Ghostface Killah has a pretty good work ethic. That 12 Reasons To Die album sounds dope. Plus their doing a coinciding comic, Ghost NEVER dissapoints

any songs been released from 12 Reasons To Die yet? can't wait for it.

Ghost is my favorite rapper but he has kind of lost me recently with what seems like disinterest in rapping. I hope 12 Reasons changes things. Not really expecting anything from the next Supreme Clientele to be frank. Ayo dude needs to really go hang with Action Bronson and Meyhem Lauren, and thus get some of that production (Tommy Mas, Harry Fraud, etc)

U sat thru multiple sheek albums? :dead:

Styles makes the best music of any member. Sheek has the least appeal, thats why he gets the least features of any lox member.

SP my nukka but his albums are close to beein snoozefests mainnn, Sheek on the other hand:salute:

but anywayz that wu-block should've been promoted by these nukkaz if it wasn't for BB i wouldn't evenknow shyt was out
