Your sounding very unstable on some dr jekyl mr hyde meets the joker type sh!t. Calm down and stop name calling people and artists because they created art inacessible to you.

:whoa: it's fine man. We have a market for a reason. if some guy or girl wants to spend 7 figures on a wu tang album, that's cool. I hope they love it and enjoy it if they spent that much money on it.

It's just jokes. I think the whole idea is ridiculous and I think Cilvaringz is a dikk and I'm not a big fan.

What I consider the sucker part is spending the money without knowing what it's gonna sound like. I haven't heard that comparison made, because people talk about this like buying a piece of fine art or whatever, and I get it. But when you pay huge prices for art, you get to see the art first. Did they have listening sessions for potential buyers before making them pay? If not, I think it's a huge risk to pay that much for something when you have no idea what you're getting.

But good for everyone involved. I just hope that everyone involved makes money and that everyone in the Clan is able to eat off this.

SINY!!
Cilvarings is a c*nt for the shyt he pulled. All good....and this is coming from someone who's lived most of my life in Staten, and has supported everything they do......"fukk the album...fukk the rza (he's been garbage behind the boards since he stopped smoking dust anyways)......and hopefully cilvarings gets sodomized with a broom handle and thrown in the bushes.

I am glad that at least some of the other members still have followings (regardless of how small it is now) and can at least record and drop music....perform...etc.

Seriously though, fukk Cilvarings in his ass with a white-washed dildo

Maybe they have enough moneynot give a fukk. Have you heard the album?

I'll address each point. As far as the bolded, most people that have enough money to not give a fukk, usually give lots of fukks. Otherwise they wouldn't be rich. Being rich usually means making smart decisions and not spending money aimlessly. So, maybe they do have enough money to not give a fukk, but I think whoever would spend 7 figures for a Wu Tang album probably gave lots of fukks about the quality of the album. The quality of the album is actually the big selling point. So yes, if I had to guess, I would guess they cared a lot.

No, I haven't heard the album. My point wasn't that the album was great, not great, bad, decent, or anything in between.

I'm just thinking about human nature. If you buy something for that much money, I'm wondering about human psychology. It could be any album, Wu Tang or not, or not even an album. I wonder about anyone that spends 7 figures on anything, how they feel about it afterwards.

That's it. Like I said, I would LOVE to hear the album. I heard it's vintage Wu, and I hope I get to hear it one day. I'm not hating on anyone. The album may be worth the money. Obviously it was, or it would still be for sale.

I can call this whole thing pretentious without being a hater. The whole thing being pretentious doesn't make the music good or bad. But let's call this what it is and what it's always been.

That's fair. I would assume they got to listen to some of it before buying.

Daps reps. Me too man.

I wonder if Tarantino is really the buyer? See kinda like an obvious fake go to choice but it also makes sense.

In the contract does the buyer have to disclose who they are? I'm assuming that you don't. It would be nice to find out who it is.

Better to reign in Hell than serve in Heaven
Just on the subject of human nature...is there anyway the buyer doesn't feel ANY regret or hint of disappointment when listening to this album???
1. buyers got exclusive previews that no one else got before bidding... that would be like bidding on a picasso without ever seeing it.... they heard enough of it to pony up 5 mil

2. same dudes buying $8000 bottles of wine, 3 million cars, gold ak-47s and diamond benzes......... if he can spend 5 mil on an album... he damn sure got more than 100 million laying around somewhere... he'll be alright

Publishing rights? Or are you talking of dropping an album and collecting royalties off of sales

yea, im pretty sure he said he explained (you have to take his word on some of this) that the album would not be sold in a convential manor. dont think this format came about til like 2012 but i guess he knew he wanted to do something different

i hope whoever buys it leaks it, they are allowed :mjcry:
