i posted this in the other OUATIS thread a minute ago but heres the link again..beware the audio is shytty brehs....sounds fire tho !
who would spend millions on an album thats most likely trash?
Much respect to the Wu
But the fact that they made a rule that the shyt don't get heard till long after they're all gone pretty much certifies this shyt is absolute trash
Nobody gonna wanna hear this shyt in 88 weeks, let alone years
Your sounding very unstable on some dr jekyl mr hyde meets the joker type sh!t. Calm down and stop name calling people and artists because they created art inacessible to you.
Maybe they have enough moneynot give a fukk. Have you heard the album?
I'll address each point. As far as the bolded, most people that have enough money to not give a fukk, usually give lots of fukks. Otherwise they wouldn't be rich. Being rich usually means making smart decisions and not spending money aimlessly. So, maybe they do have enough money to not give a fukk, but I think whoever would spend 7 figures for a Wu Tang album probably gave lots of fukks about the quality of the album. The quality of the album is actually the big selling point. So yes, if I had to guess, I would guess they cared a lot.
No, I haven't heard the album. My point wasn't that the album was great, not great, bad, decent, or anything in between.
I'm just thinking about human nature. If you buy something for that much money, I'm wondering about human psychology. It could be any album, Wu Tang or not, or not even an album. I wonder about anyone that spends 7 figures on anything, how they feel about it afterwards.
That's it. Like I said, I would LOVE to hear the album. I heard it's vintage Wu, and I hope I get to hear it one day. I'm not hating on anyone. The album may be worth the money. Obviously it was, or it would still be for sale.
I can call this whole thing pretentious without being a hater. The whole thing being pretentious doesn't make the music good or bad. But let's call this what it is and what it's always been.
Daps reps. Me too man. That's fair. I would assume they got to listen to some of it before buying.
1. buyers got exclusive previews that no one else got before bidding... that would be like bidding on a picasso without ever seeing it.... they heard enough of it to pony up 5 milJust on the subject of human nature...is there anyway the buyer doesn't feel ANY regret or hint of disappointment when listening to this album???
