Why do these devs think...
Harder and mechanically unsound bosses with crazy animations = better
IDK, Malenia is like the limit of what a boss should be. Lots of SOTE hit that sweet spot too. mesmer was great.
however it has became an arms race with the soulslike to create the most annoying, fakkity and downright insulting bosses possible so its gotten worse and worse since ER.
These dikkheads are designing bosses like we are DMC5 dante or Hayabusa when you're usually a very slow, methodical character in comparison to the nonsense the bosses are doing. I beat all these shyts because I'm just good at these games but even I get pissed and frustrated and I'm like "why even design this lol"
A lot of bosses in this game are just so comically overtuned that you either have to have great great great runs, or cheese. There is definitely some dude out there who can no hit this whole game blindfolded or w/e but for the average non severely autistic gamer these shyts are getting more and more frustrating and as a super OG player since Demon souls a reset needs to happen soon because they are reaching the limits of what peole are going to want to deal with.
