i'd wager that WWE retains rights to anything Greg did over there as part of their broadcast and they like the free promo Griselda gives the organization.

Whatever Greg was trying to collect wasn't entirely his either and he tried a blackmail routine with the court threats while throwing up settlement numbers IN PUBLIC putting pressure and demands out there. if the organization had his back at any time it didn't after that.
