The law is the law. You can't use someone's voice without their permission and they will be compensated.
And sometimes the law is corny:yeshrug:
Two things can be true.

It’s not like he don’t support WWE all the time, it’s not like he stealing their shyt and not supporting. Plus he is exposing them to an audience that had long stopped fukking with wrestling. It’s petty and it’s helping wwe so this isn’t a time to be trying to sue.

Now if his whole gimmick was using wwe samples and only sold records because of it then I would understand

Maybe if Westside Gunn asked permission, this wouldn’t be happening.

It was only a matter of time before one of the wrestlers filed a lawsuit against him because he’s been using their likeness for a long time.

Fortunately he’s been getting away with it because respectfully he’s not mainstream enough for the family’s of Macho-man, Elizabeth etc to know what he is doing.

However, something interesting is the article referring to Westside Gunn as a former Roc Nation artist. Did he leave their management?
