If they are going to make it an NXT product then CMLL will have a much better chance of being competitive on salaries.

Knowing WWE, they’ll be paying NXT Mexico talent even less than NXT USA talent, because that’s what they did for NXT UK and it’s Mexico.

I could be wrong but it seems the main two reasons are to limit AEW's reach in México by officially cutting them off from AAA and getting a stronger foothold in México (a market that can always be exploited, for lack of a better word).

AEW alreay dont really rock wth them and they're more close with CMLL

In 2025, yes. But you never know what can happen in 3-5 years. With a move like this, you block them from having an alternative with a recognizable name if there's a fallout with CMLL.

TNA: WWE had the oppurtunity to get them back in 2015 and 2016, passed up on it. The company went through an successful rebuild and the "partnership" was only formed to stall out AEW's growth and indirectly stall out TNA's growth as WWE really doesn't want both to grow. Unless Anthem doesn't want to be in the wrestling business anymore like how Warner did to WCW, I don't see them getting brought out.

How exactly would the partnership stall out AEW's growth when AEW has a much more lucrative television deal and much larger presence than TNA?

WWE partners & buy another company= monopolizing trying to kill the business

AEW partners & buys another company= saving the business

:unimpressed: I see how it is
The only company AEW bought was ROH, which had ceased operations and released all talent from their contracts at the time of purchase.
