Honestly it was more because how AEW did shytty business with them, talked poorly about him personally and then flipped to working with CMLL while perpetuating the idea that AAA was super trash true or not. He probably helped with the conversation and definitely brokered deals for Pentagon and Fenix, confirmed....and this is why Konnan has been sucking TKO dikk since the merger

So their values fit right in with the TKO portfolio.

Not a fan of any US promotion consolidating like this, it's gonna be interesting times for a lot of wrestlers in the coming months and years when it comes to unemployment. I also wonder if a new mexican promotion is created in the next 5 years or so.
As others have said, wouldn't shock me if NOAH is next. I truly hope All Japan and New Japan are not bought by anyone

I think it is very uncommon and difficult for foreign takeovers in Japan, but I'm sure that's something they're going to look into. Weren't there rumors they were trying to buy AJPW a few years ago?Wild, wild stuff.
