Konnan was always bytching about the talent AEW would send there even when they were sending Kenny Omega, Young Bucks (before everyone soured on them), FTR, etc. After a while it seemed like TK got sick of it and just started sending scraps

AEW did pull talent from some AAA shows too after they were announced for it though. That was fukked up.

The he snatched up Komander, Hologram, Mortos, etc.
