Am I missing something with all this AJ hysteria? To me she was just alright and just like Tessa the women in the company now have surpassed her.

There’s a group of fans that just cannot get over that shytty pocket era of wrestling that had AJ, Beth Phoenix, the Bellas etc.

Am I missing something with all this AJ hysteria? To me she was just alright and just like Tessa the women in the company now have surpassed her.

She was the whole package at a time when the women were either there for a check or had nothing to work with. What's sad is that she (and Paige, to some extent) left the company right around the time the women's division was about to change forever. She never got to be around the best competition, never got to refine her skills and reach her highest level. She only had two years you can look back on, so you can't place her in the GOAT category off that.

If she comes back, it will be worth it in the beginning because of all the eras she missed out on and the fact that she's stayed away for this long. But she's going to have to deliver a banger or two or else, there's going to be a lot of talk about whether or not she was ever that good.

I thought she played her role extremely well. And she's obviously cute as fukk.

Like if someone attacks Edge and a woman gets involved it makes sense for people to expect Beth. Plus we haven't seen AJ wrestle in so long.

I was never a fan of her in ring wise.

I was a Naomi fan since her and AJ fought on NXT.

I didn't even think she was the whole package back then, because imo the only good match she had in the WWE was against Naomi.

Yeah for how Sheamus/Rusev ended they did too much and it went too long. Cena/Logan was just tribute moves and kick outs and went on forever. Bex and Nikki had a horrible promo battle and the match was even worse.

Yeah I'm not going to be a fan of the Profits split, but since they were able to get one more run after basically being frozen out of the scene during the Bloodline storyline. Kind of feels like now is a time they can pull that trigger. I would prefer if they split. They split and go different brands versus having to fight each other like all the other long term tag teams have to do.

Wyatt 6 gonna have the belts for a long ass time I feel cause the crowd loves them but they kind of bog down the tag division. Though going freebird with the belts will possibly make them a bit more interesting match wise.
